Charged
— Douglas Carpenter, 20, of 1218 Irvine Road, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking under $500.
— Ramesh Patel, 56, of 1100 Interstate Drive, was charged with theft by deception.
— Ricky D. Walters, 28, of Powell County, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking (automobile), leaving the scene of an accident and criminal mischief.
— Tony L. Ginter, 56, of 2580 Ford Hampton Road, was charged Friday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and prescription controlled substance not in proper container.
— Michael R. Collett, 47, of Mount Sterling, was charged Sunday with no registration plate, no insurance, driving under the influence of drugs and first-degree criminal mischief.

Reports
— At 4:58 p.m. Thursday, David Hoffman of 8250 Wades Mill Road reported that someone kicked in the door to his residence and took an Xbox, a 32-inch television and jewelry.
— At 10 a.m. Friday, James Ramsey of 4256 Ecton Road reported that someone had been taking copper and steel from property on Stoner Ephesus Road for approximately two months.
— At 5:13 p.m. Saturday, Josephine Ratliff of 213 Shannon Court reported that a known man took her car and cell phone without her permission.
— At 1:57 p.m. Sunday, Judy Singleton of 1956 Stoner Ephesus Road reported that someone broke into her home and took an antique toy safe.
— At 5:57 p.m. Sunday, Shannon Henry of 1015 Goshen Road reported that there were several unauthorized charges on her bank account.
— At 5:54 p.m. Sunday, Kim Sexton of 208 Justice Drive reported that someone took an amount of money from her home.
