Obituary: Maxie Carroll

HARRODSBURG — Maxie Stapleton Carroll, 71, widow of Harold Stapleton and James Carroll, died April 11.
Survivors include: sons, Richard (Carol) Stapleton and Michael (Kelley) Stapleton; a step-son, Harold Wayne Stapleton; grandchildren, Steve Ostafin, Melissa Clifton, Brian Scott Stapleton, Leslie Nicole Stapleton and Heather Stapleton;  several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and a family friend, Jimmy Howard.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
