Veteran broadcaster and syndication expert Al Snyder was awarded the Kentucky Broadcaster’s Association Stephen Foster Award for Broadcast Excellence during the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held in Lexington on April 7.
The award was presented by KBA President Gary Wright. Snyder has been in broadcasting for 39 years and radio syndication for more than 20 years.
He is a past recipient of the Country Music Association Broadcast Personality of the Year Award, a former member of the CMA Board of Directors and a lifetime member of the Country Music Association.
Snyder has acted as producer/clearance director for syndicated radio shows featuring Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson and many others.
