Winchester Police: April 13, 2011

Charged
— Brandon W. Estepp, 27, no address given, was charged today with second-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— Brad Planck, 35, of 110 Ashland Ave., was charged Tuesday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
— Neda Kaye Stamper, 30, of 414 E. Broadway, was charged Tuesday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Reports
— At 1:33 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 104 Mutual Ave. concerning the theft of a car dolly.
— At 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported that someone took his iPad at either Kroger or Walmart.

Accident
— At 1:50 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to an injury accident on Lexington Road in which a vehicle driven by Charmin Higgins of 443 Oreo Drive was turning left from Carol Road onto Lexington Avenue when her vehicle was struck by another traveling east on Lexington Avenue. The driver of the second vehicle, Jason Polly of Owensboro, said he tried to stop but the Higgins vehicle kept coming into his lane. Higgins and a passenger in her vehicle were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
