Christine Gay: April 14, 2011

Christine Gay, 80, passed away Monday, April 14, at her residence.
A native of Falmouth, she was the widow of Eugene Gay and the daughter of the late Will and Grace Watson Graves.
She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, where she served as minister of music for more than 50 years.
She was a retiree of Square D in Lexington and a graduate of Lincoln Ridge Institute in Shelbyville.
She is survived by a daughter, Leslie Gay; two sons, Larry (Gayle) Gay and James (Sandra) Gay; grandsons, Dwain (Rosalinda) Gay, Kevin Gay, Ron Gay and Nicklas Gay; granddaughters, Khalila, Theda, April, Adrienne and LaTasha; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Kyra, Adaisha, Sateesha, Khalil, Zachery, Trinity, Montez and Slone Adonis; sisters, Ann Higgins and Sylvia Graves; brothers, Thomas (Voncile) Graves and William (Carol) Graves; several nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 15 Redwing Drive.
Services will be immediately following visitation.
Burial will follow at Clarmont Garden.
