Todds Road closure scheduled next week

Todds Road (Ky. 1927) in Fayette County will be closed April 18-25 for culvert replacement work to be completed.
The closure, which begins at 8 a.m. Monday, will be from mile point 4.0 (Todd’s Station) to mile point 5.0 (Pricetown Lane).
Suggested alternate routes:
—  to Clark County: Motorists will need to take U.S. 60 (Winchester Road) to Ky 1973 (North Cleveland Road).
—  from Clark County: Motorists can take Ky. 1973 (North Cleveland Road) to U.S. 60 (Winchester Road).

Diabetes Coalition meets next Tuesday

The Clark County Diabetes Coalition will meet on Tuesday, April 19, from 10:45 to 11:45 in the Arby’s atrium.

Hydrant flushings scheduled for Friday

Winchester Municipal Utilities will conduct testing of hydrants on the following streets Friday: Ashton Oak Way, Bay Hill Court, Bay Hill Drive, Brentwood Drive, Candlewood Drive, Paris Road, Pepperwood Court, Plantations Drive, Royal Oak Drive, Sandlewood Pointe, Silverton Way, Teakwood Court, Winterberry Court and Winterberry Drive.

Daniel Boone actor to speak to Rotary

Steve Caudill, who portrays Daniel Boone, will be the guest speaker Friday at the Winchester Rotary Club’s luncheon. The club will meet at noon at the Winchester Country Club. Jack Starnes will be the program chairman and will introduce Caudill.

Tourism Commission to meet on April 19

The Winchester-Clark County Tourism Commission will meet Tuesday, April 19, at 8 a.m. at the tourism office. The meeting is open to the public.
