— An Arbor Day/May Day celebration at Downtown Green in Wilmore will be on Sunday, May 1, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. There will be a performance by the Wilmore Christian School of Ballet, music by the Advocate Band from Danville, exhibits and children’s activities. — The Jessamine County Senior Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and welcomes people 60 years of age and older. The center has a fully equipped exercise room and a thrift shop. The seniors meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
