Jaguars win four straight

East Jessamine had a hot week, winning four of its five games, including four wins in as many days.

Last Wednesday, East defeated Model 14-8, recording a season-high in runs. The following day, the Jags plated 12 runs to record their second district win, beating Burgin 12-7.

Friday night’s game at Nelson County was postponed. Nelson and East played two on Saturday, with the Jags winning both games 6-5.

Monday


The Jags fell at Boyle, 8-2, Monday night. The Rebels jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first inning and cruised the rest of the way, dropping East to 10-9 on the season and ending its four-game win streak.

East is still looking for its first road win of the season in the state of Kentucky. It won two games while in Florida during spring break.
