Relay For Life team captains meet May 2

On Monday at 6 p.m. at the Clark County Extension Office, 1400 Fortune Drive, there will be a meeting for anyone interested in forming a team for the Relay for Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

Health Department offers parenting class

“Beyond the Birds and the Bees: Talking with Children about Relationships, Values, and the Facts of Life” will be offered by the Clark County Health Department.
The class will be taught by Dr. Betsy Neale, a sociologist who specializes in adolescent reproductive health, from 6 to 8 p.m. May 5 at the Central Elementary School library.
A light meal will be provided. Registration is limited to 20.

GTE/Sylvania/Osram retirees lunch May 5

Winchester GTE/Sylvania/Osram retirees will meet for lunch, 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5, at the Jade Garden in the Winchester Kroger Mall.
All retirees are welcome to attend.
