TODAY

— Clark County Friends of the Library book sale, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the library, 370 S. Burns Ave. The sale is open to the public. Membership to the Friends will be open.
— FFA annual greenhouse sale, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the greenhouse behind George Rogers Clark High School. All proceeds benefit GRC FFA program.
— Relay for Life fundraiser at Barnes Family Greenhouse, 2244 Irvine Road, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Relay for Life. There also will be a cookout.
— Spring cleaning sale at the Leeds Center, 9-11 a.m., 37 N. Main St. Sale includes costumes, props and furniture. Only cash payments accepted.

MONDAY, MAY 2

— George Rogers Clark High School-based Decision-making Council meeting, 4 p.m., school library.
— Relay for Life team captain meeting, 6 p.m., Clark County Extension Office, 1400 Fortune Office. Anyone interested in forming a team for the event should attend this meeting.
— Clark County Democratic Woman’s Club meeting, 6:30 p.m., at the home of LaDonna Stamper. Dinner will be potluck and meat will be provided by the host. Ann Humble will be the guest speaker.

TUESDAY, MAY 3

— Celebrate Recovery, a 12-step program based on the Beatitudes, for any hurt, habit or hang-up, 7 p.m., Calvary Christian Church. Every Tuesday.
— Zumba fitness class, Shearer Elementary, 5:45 p.m. Every Tuesday and Thursday.
— Compassionate Friends support group meeting for bereaved parents, Hospice East, Shoppers Drive, 7 p.m. Parents who have lost a child at any age from any cause are invited to attend, as well as family and friends. Adults only.
— Alcoholics Anonymous, 8 p.m., First Fire building, Winchester Plaza. Meetings are every Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 4

— First Settlers Homemakers meeting, 10:30 a.m., Forest Grove Christian Church, Old Boonesboro Road. The group will make pillowcase dresses.
— TLC meeting, Cheddar’s in Lexington. Members will meet behind McDonald’s at 12:15 p.m. to carpool.
— Retired School Lunchroom Managers luncheon, 11:30 a.m., Cantuckee Diner.

— Life Hurts, God Heals, group for teenagers who have experienced pain related to troubled family dynamics, depression, drinking, drugs, cutting, pornography, eating disorders, anger and other issues, Calvary Christian Church, 7-9 p.m.
