Hershell Montgomery, 49, widower of Kay Montgomery, died Monday, May 2, at the Baptist North East Hospital. He was born March 28, 1962, in Fayette County, the son of the late David and Thelma Blythe. Hershell is survived by his sister, Dorothy Dunn of Lexington; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Frog Staton; his brothers, Cecil and Morris Montgomery. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 5, at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing with Pastor Jason Price officiating.
