Winchester Fire-EMS: May 5, 2011

— On Wednesday, emergency personnel conducted one local transfer and three out-of-town transfers. They also responded to four general medical calls, one respiratory case, three cardiac cases, two seizures, one motor vehicle accident, one stroke and one fall.
— Shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to Hillcrest Apartments on Oxford Drive for a structure fire. The fire started in Apartment 76 in Building G. Seven people were rescued and all 16 residents were evacuated. The cause of the fire is undetermined and is not believed to be suspicious.
