Editor’s note: Taken from the Danville 911 records, the Police Blotter represents a history of the initial calls and the information used by the dispatcher to send officers to investigate complaints. MAY 7

2:35 a.m., report that a lot of traffic is going in and out of a room at Best Western motel that may be narcotics related.

11:49 a.m., report of a female customer in the check out line at Food Lion being verbal and physical with her juvenile daughter; trouble settled.

3:07 p.m., caller advised she was assaulted by the owner of a salon.

4:46 p.m., caller advised there is a child on her front porch on Old Shakertown Road who has been wandering around the neighborhood for the past three days and doesn’t seem to have any adult supervision.

6:38 p.m., a 23-year-old female is walking down Longview Drive and seems very intoxicated; arrest made.

7:25 p.m., several 911 calls have been received from children playing on the phone; during one of the calls, one of the children claimed to have killed their mother; contact was made with the juveniles and their parents.

9:36 p.m., caller from North Fourth Street residence advised that a juvenile just stole $15 off of her living room table; referred to the county attorney’s office.
