Charged
— Austin Rozman, 18, no address given, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree assault.
— Rodney V. Sweat, 37, of 330 Newcastle Lane, was charged today with driving under the influence of intoxicants, second-degree possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving.

Reports
— At 9:01 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 1450 Bypass Road after a starter was taken from a truck.
— At 4:41 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 541 S. Maple St. after a woman reported that her car was vandalized.
— At 5:13 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 5 Almond St. after a known woman destroyed property at a rental home.
— At 5:38 p.m Tuesday, officers were called to 543 N. Maple St. concerning an assault.
— At 6:58 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 440 Colby Ridge Blvd. concerning an assault from the previous day.
— At 7:47 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 136 Stevenson Heights concerning a possible child abuse case.
— At 8:02 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 413 W. Lexington Ave. after a known female vandalized a vehicle.

Accident
— At 2 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an injury accident on East Broadway in which Gwen D. Hager of Irvine was traveling east on Broadway and collided with a second vehicle at the intersection with Highland St. Hager said she did not realize there was a four-way stop at the intersection and tried to slow before the collision. The other driver, Brooks Ecton of 131 Franklin Ave., said she swerved to avoid the other vehicle, but could not. Ecton, Hager and one of Hager’s passengers, David Hager, were all transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
