The Jessamine County Sheriff's office is seeking help from the community in an attempt to identify and locate suspects believed to have been involved in a theft from American Venture Industrial Co. at 131 Dewey Drive Tuesday afternoon.
Around 4:40 p.m., two people driving an older model Chevrolet Suburban, pulling a small trailer, entered the parking lot on Dewey Drive and removed an equipment dolly and a steel section of an I-Beam from the property. The items are valued at $900, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
The sheriff's office was able to obtain photos of one of the suspects and the vehicle. Anyone who may be able to identify the suspect or the vehicle, or has any other information related to theft, should call the sheriff's office at 885-9512.
