Obituary: Garnett Mobley

HARRODSBURG — Garnett Mobley, 79, died Sunday. He was the husband of Rena Patterson Mobley.
Born Aug. 21, 1931, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Dewey and Myrtle Coker Mobley.
Other survived include a daughter, Rhonda Darland of Harrodsburg; two grandsons; two step-granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest and Howard Mobley, and two sisters, Cornell Reynolds and Joyce Britton, all of Harrodsburg.
Funeral services will be  10 a.m. Friday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be  from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 7 a.m. Friday.
