Town and Country Homemakers Club met May 10 at Clark County Public Library

The Town and Country Homemakers met May 10 at the Clark County Public Library.
Dianna Layne opened the meeting with prayer. Betty Bonar called the meeting to order. Billye Jean Stigall read the minutes from the April meeting.
Mary Lou Shearer gave the treasurer’s report and collected Change for Change donations, which will be donated to the Clark County Homeless Coalition.
Mary Lou Shearer also presented the lesson, “Cooking for One or Two.” She gave lots of information on recipes and menus, and handed out literature that went along with the lesson.
The May newsletter was discussed. Members signed up for the Leader Lessons for the upcoming fall and winter meetings.  
Officers elected for 2011-2012 were Betty Bonar, president; Sandy Hiles, vice president; Mary Lou Shearer, treasurer; and Billye Jean Stigall, secretary.  
Members in attendance were Betty Bonar, Mary Lou Shearer, Billye Jean Stigall, Joan Estes, Betty Aldridge, Dianna Layne, Deanna Wright, Connie Harms, Shirley Nickell and Delores Segress.
Town and Country Homemakers will continue to meet during June and July to enjoy fun and fellowship. Visitors are welcome. The next meeting will be June 14 at Gaunce’s on the Bypass at 6:30 p.m.
