Walden’s Photography raising funds for art

Tim Walden, owner of Walden’s Photography, is hosting a fundraiser for the Art Fund at Conkwright Middle School. Proceeds from the purchase of private portrait sessions June 20-21 will be donated to the Art Fund.
Sessions will take place at the Winchester Opera House or 100 Moundale Ave.

Estes Cousins dinner Thursday afternoon

The Estes Cousins will meet for dinner at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Cracker Barrel in Richmond.

Relay for Life Friday to include blood drive

The Kentucky Blood Center’s Bloodmobile will be at the Clark County Relay for Life event at the George Rogers Clark High School track Friday from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
Blood donors must be at least 17 (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health.
The Relay for Life walk is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Blood transfusions for cancer patients are one of the reasons the KBC needs blood donations.

Hospital auxiliary to meet Monday

The monthly meeting of the Clark Regional Medical Center Auxiliary will be held on Monday, June 13. The officer volunteer meeting will commence at 9:30 a.m. and the general meeting at 10:30 a.m.

Storytelling Camp at Clark Middle

A Storytelling Camp hosted by Clark Middle School Speech and Drama Team will be June 27 to July 1 from 9 a.m. to noon or 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the school. The cost is $50. Registration ends June 20.
