Restaurants, hospital support Relay for Life
Two Mexican restaurants, El Camino Real and Don Señor, have teamed up with Clark Regional Medical Center to support the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
On Friday and Saturday, if those dining at the restaurants present the printed flyer, the restaurants will donate 10 percent of the proceeds from the meals to the Relay.
To receive the flyer via e-mail, call Tiffani Stafford at the hospital at 745-3692.
Relay for Life to include blood drive
The Kentucky Blood Center’s Bloodmobile will be at the Clark County Relay for Life event at the George Rogers Clark High School track Friday from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
Blood donors must be at least 17 (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health.
The Relay for Life walk is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Blood transfusions for cancer patients are one of the reasons the KBC needs blood donations.
