Marine Chamber Ensemble

Marine chamber ensembles feature the musicians of “The President’s Own” performing in intimate settings. Performers can vary from concert to concert.
The composition and repertoire of these ensembles varies with each performance and can include an array of instrumentation, such as strong or sax quartets; clarinet choirs; brass quintets, brass and percussion ensembles, and flute and harp or string duos. The Marine Chamber Ensembles perform regularly at the John Philip Sousa Band Hall at the Marine Barracks Annex in Washington, D.C., as well as pre-concert recitals before Marine Band and Marine Chamber Orchestra performances.
