Cruise-in planned in Lancaster

The Vintage Iron Car Club along with the City of Lancaster present the Lancaster Cruise-in 1-5 p.m. Sunday on the square in downtown Lancaster.
The Central Kentucky Regional Humane Society will serve concessions during this event.
The CKYRHS  is proud to be an ambassador in Purina’s Pro Plan Rally to Rescue.

Informative event planned on college credit

A College Credit information event will be 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the  Garrard County Middle School Auditorium. Opportunities offered in Garrard County by Eastern Kentucky University and Bluegrass Community and Technical College will be discussed.
Special presentations will be included on programs that allow students to earn college credit while still in high school.
The event will also provide information for those interested in pursuing college or technical degrees. Representatives from EKU and BCTC will be present, and the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority will discuss financial aid options.
