Richard Garr Sr.: June 24, 2011

Richard Eugene Garr Sr., 82, died June 24, 2011. He was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by three children, Larry E. Garr, Richard Garr Jr. and Robert Garr; four grandchildren, Katrina Garr, Larissa Garr, Rachael Taylor and Richard Garr III; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter. Services were at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Lexington United Methodist Church with the Rev. Hunn Choi officiating. Visitation was from 4:30-7 p.m. at the church Tuesday.
