THURSDAY
— The Wilmore Senior Community Center will host Matter of Balance classes each Thursday in July from 10 a.m. to noon.
— The Wilmore Senior Community Center will host the Music City Brass on Thursday, July 14, at 1:15 p.m.
— The Jessamine County Public Library will host Bean There: Coffee Country to Country at noon.
— The Jessamine County Public Library will host a virtual field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art at 2 p.m.

FRIDAY
— Art Alive at the Jessamine County Public Library for elementary-school-aged children will be held at 10:30 a.m.
— Art Alive at the Jessamine County Public Library for teens through adults will be held at 2 p.m.

SATURDAY
— The Jessamine County Farmers Market will open in the Wilmore City Hall parking lot Saturday at 8 a.m.
— A free meal is provided by Manna Ministries each Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meal is a restaurant-quality meal served at 303 W. Maple St. in the community center of Nicholasville United Methodist Church. The meal is open to the public for anyone in need. Takeout meals are available after 12:30 p.m. Volunteers are always welcome and can contact the office at 885-4481.
— Stonebridge Summer Saturday Night Concert Series will feature Kristy Kirsh and Al Beers who will provide an evening of light classical music on flute and Latin guitar at 7 p.m. on the Downtown Green in Wilmore. A local food vendor will be on site to sell refreshments, and the Boy Scouts will be selling popcorn. Attendees are asked to bring a non perishable item to benefit the Wilmore-High Bridge Community Service Center or the county animal shelter.
— The Jessamine County Public Library will host Waggin’ Tales from 2-4 p.m.

SUNDAY
— Christian artists Daniel and Renita Koeh will share the gospel and their love for Christ through music and drama at 10:45 a.m., Sunday, July 17, at Nicholasville Christian Church. The words of the Scripture will be brought to life as Daniel dramatizes John’s Gospel. Both Daniel and Renita have graduate degrees in voice from the University of Kentucky, and have been professional musicians for more than 15 years. MONDAY
— The Jessamine County Senior Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and welcomes people 60 years of age and older. The center has a fully equipped exercise room and a thrift shop. The seniors meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Activities are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bus service and a hot lunch are available on a donation basis. For more information, call 885-9102.

— The Jessamine County Public Library will host a summer storytime at 10:30 a.m. for families with children ages 5 and under.
— The Wilmore Senior Community Center will host crafting with stamping and color markets each Monday in July from 10 a.m. to noon.
— The Jessamine County Public Library will host Spellbinder’s Volunteer Orientation from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
— The Jessamine County Public Library will host a book discussion group at 7 p.m. This month’s book is “Country Driving: A Journey through China from Farm to Factory” by Peter Hessler.

TUESDAY
— The TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) weight-loss support group meets from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Creekside Senior Apartments, 407 N. 2nd St. in Nicholasville. For cost and more information, contact Donald Wither at 312-7455.

WEDNESDAY
— The Jessamine County Senior Citizens Center will host a farmer’s market from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in its parking lot at 111 Hoover Drive.
— The Jessamine County Senior Citizens Center will host Wii Wednesday each Wednesday in July at 10 a.m.

UPCOMING EVENTS
— The Jessamine County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting July 28 at 7 p.m. at 216 N. Main St., Nicholasville. The guest  speaker will be Jessamine County Magistrate George Dean and his topic will be the 100th anniversary of High Bridge and the Blue Way Trail.
— On Saturday, July 30, all former students of the Nonsuch School are invited to a reunion event to be held starting at noon at the Nonsuch Park on Cummings Ferry Road. Bring a dish to share. For more information, call 859-433-3629 or 859-875-2439.
— Council Oaks Assisted Living will host a bake sale on Saturday, June 25, from 8 a.m. to noon. Council Oaks is located at 111 Coconut Grove Drive in Nicholasville. All proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Association.

Any group or individual who is willing to donate dog or cat food for this program can contact the S.A.V.E. Center at 881-0821.

— The Jessamine County Cancer Buddies group would like to extend an invitation to anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer and all the survivors of it.
