Wilma Helen Banks, 72, of Winchester, wife of Bobby L. Banks, was called home Thursday, July 14, after a long illness.
A native of Powell County, she was born Oct. 23, 1938, to the late Lewis and Bessie Faulkner Branham.
She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marcia (Jimmie) Mason; two sons and daughters-in-law, Garland (Edna) Banks, and Gregory S. (Stephanie) Banks; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Branham; two sisters-in-law; and two brothers-in-law.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., by Brother William Prater and Brother Millard Anderson.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside services will take place Monday at 2 p.m. at the Branham-Ledford Cemetery in Wolfe County.
Pallbearers will be Keith Olinger, Porter Wayne Banks, Michael Townsend, Michael Mason, Jimmie Mason and Danny Joe Branham.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Scott Moore and the caretakers of Lexington for the warmth and care given to our wife and mother.
