Fannie Pritchett: July 23, 2011

Fannie Pritchett, 81, widow of Vincent Pritchett, died July 24 at her home. She was a native of Breathitt County, daughter of the late Lewis T. and Martha E. Turner Arrowood. She was a member of the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church. Fannie was an employee of Asbury College for 19 years, serving in the cafeteria bakery and with the Kentucky Baptist Home for Children for two years. She is survived by a brother, Henry Arrowood of North Carolina; sisters Jane Crutcher of Nicholasville and Rosia and husband Harold Horton of High Bridge; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by a son, John David Pritchett; a brother, John M. Arrowood; and two sisters, Esther Merriman and Dora Greer. Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Betts & West Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Becknell officiating.  Visitation was from 6-9 p.m. July 26.  Burial was in the Keene Cemetery.
