Lincoln grand jury indicts four

STANFORD — The following people were indicted recently by a Lincoln County grand jury:
n Josh Morgan, 24, and Arlus Morgan, 28, both of Smith Trailer Park in McKinney, theft of more than $500 for allegedly taking property belonging to Bill Goodwin and Jabez Ministries on March 30. Bond was set at $25,000 each. Jarrett Brooks testified before the grand jury.
n Luke D. Robinson, 35, of 9430 U.S. 27, allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine on June 5; and April L. Ledbetter, 32, of 16560 Ky. 1247, complicity to manufacture meth on June 5. Robinson’s bond was set at $25,000 and Ledbetter’s at $10,000. Deputy John Williams testified.
n Nicholas Naylor, 21, 1377 Ky. 698, trafficking in oxycodone, fleeing police and wanton endangerment for allegedly evading police in his vehicle with a minor child aboard on April 27. Bond was set at $50,000. Williams testified.
n Zach Pollitt, 22, of Lancaster, theft more than $500 and theft less than $500 for allegedly taking property belonging to Michael M. Pruitt and Jason Harris on July 4. Bond was set at $35,000. Deputy Robin Jones testified.

Casey grand jury indicts five

LIBERTY — The following people were indicted this week by a Casey County grand jury:
n John Alexander Morrison, 43, of Campbellsville, second-degree assault, and Minnie Elizabeth Simpson, 32, of 4468 Dry Ridge Road, complicity to commit second-degree assault, for an incident on June 28 in which Morrison allegedly shot Robert Blevins with a shotgun loaded with a bean bag round. Summonses were issued. Deputy Jamie Walters, Blevins, Morrison and Simpson testified before the grand jury.
n Jason Timothy Gosser, 28, 435 Wilson Ridge, tampering with evidence, menacing, possession of marijuana, public intoxication and resisting arrest for allegedly confronting Liberty Officer Randy Dial as Dial was taking him into custody on May 24. A summons was issued. Dial testified.
n James Verlis Smith Jr., 44, of Yosemite, allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine and being a persistent felony offender on June 24. A┬┐summons was issued. Deputy Dennis Allen testified.
n Jessie Elbert Hayes, 40, address unavailable, allegedly trafficking in oxycodone, hydrocodone and Alprazolam on April 9. Bond was set at $5,000. Allen testified.
