The best thing that Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center has ever done is the valet parking. When I had to go to the hospital for anything, such as my heart would get out of rhythm, my wife would have to let me out and then go find a parking place.
I have been to the hospital many, many times for different reasons. The last six months or so, I have been at least 12 times — the pain clinic, emergency room and for tests. The valet parking was the best thing I and my family really liked.
The only thing they did to ruin it was to move it to the other end of the hospital.
The emergency room, admitting and all tests are done on the emergency end.
Come on, help the people and patients of the hospital. Move it back to the emergency entrance. Don’t do away with it.
