Charged
— Samuel E. Jackson Jr., 26, of Richmond, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary (four counts).
— Derek W. Fallen, 35, of Thoroughbred Apartments, was charged Friday with theft by deception (three counts).
— Miki N. Westerman, 19, of 132 Lana Lane, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence less than 21-years-old, leaving the scene of an accident, first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree criminal mischief.
Reports
— At 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Daniel F. Johnson of 1650 Ford Hampton Road reported that someone took a utility trailer from his barn.
— On Friday, Mary Davis of 25 Colby Hills Drive reported that someone tried to remove copper from an air conditioner at 17 Colby Hills Drive.
— At approximately 1:12 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 427 Calmes Blvd. after a car hit a house. The driver fled on foot but was later captured on Calmes Boulevard. The driver, 19-year-old Miki N. Westerman, admitted to driving the car and hitting the house. She told deputies she had been drinking in Lexington and was trying to get to a friend’s house on Shanahan Lane. She was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree criminal mischief.
Accident
— At 3:07 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Mount Sterling Road in which William Mayes of Jeffersonville lost control of his scooter and crashed into a ditch. He was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
