Charged
— Russell Miller, 25, of 224 Jackson St., was charged Thursday with theft by unlawful taking over $500.
— Jeff E. Bruner, 39, of 4320 Iron Works Road, was charged Sunday with fourth-degree assault.

Accidents
— At 9:34 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Mount Sterling Road in which Laura L. Toth of Mount Sterling was traveling west when she lost control on the wet road. Her car slid into the opposite lane and was hit by a second vehicle, driven by Jacqueline M. Wilford of Versailles. Both were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
— At 10:16 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident on the Mountain Parkway in which Lala Puia of Indianapolis was traveling west when his car hydroplaned and he lost control. The car struck a guardrail. Two passengers, Lalnun Thari and Sanga Mal, both of Indianapolis, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
