Charged
— Jeffrey Saylor, 41, of 713 Winchester Road in Paris, was charged Friday with driving under the influence.
— William J. Hall, 46, of 414 Skylark, was charged Sunday with assault.

Reports
— At 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Samuel J. Pierson of 1866 Linton Road reported that someone had scratched his 1999 Lexus in numerous locations, including around the gas tank. He advised that his car sounded louder and he believed that someone may have put something in his tank.
— At 4 p.m. Friday, Jason Martin of 422 Paisley Court reported that someone set up two accounts using his identity, which he discovered while checking his credit history. The address on one of the accounts is his mother's address. He said he has never used that address.
— At 8 a.m. Friday, a Columbia Gas employee reported that some time during the night someone broke into the maintenance building and took 12 to 15 spools of electric wire. The person gained access into the building through a window.
— At 7:40 p.m. Friday, Melissa Hall of 131 Mimosa Drive reported that while she was out of town, someone entered her home and took a Wii and other household items.
— At 9:40 p.m. Friday, an employee of Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation reported that a resident’s flat

 screen TV¿had been misplaced in storage.
— At 2 p.m. Friday, Barry Immerfall, of 219 Seippel, reported that someone vandalized his 1999 Grand Am by “keying” his rear passenger side at 1330 Schollsville Road.
— At 5 p.m. Sunday, Donald Gaskell of 7735 Irvine road reported that someone removed farm equipment from his barn worth $4,500 during the last two and a half weeks.

Accident
— At 11:54 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident at 2300 Muddy Creek Road in which Jordan Patton, 19, of 630 Bailey Lane, was traveling southbound following Melody Soard, 50, of Richmond, and was unable to stop once Soard slowed down. He attempted to go around her to the left, when Soard was turning left into a driveway, and he struck her in the left rear door. Both drivers came to a final rest on the left hand side of the road. Soard had one passenger in her car, and Patton had three in his car. Both vehicles were damaged, and Winchester Fire-EMS¿gave first aid at the scene. Two people were injured in the accident and¿transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
