Two homes vandalized on Broadway

September 15, 2011

People with property damaged by vandals Tuesday night in Danville are continuing to come forward.
In addition to about 50 vehicles that were marked with bright orange spray-paint, Assistant Chief Tony Gray said two homes on Broadway were vandalized and some marks were made on roads.
Reports have come from several parts of town, including the areas around Centre College and Danville High School. Police Chief Jay Newell said officers are building a database of areas where damage occurred.
Police ask anyone whose property was damaged to come to the police department and fill out a report so they can provide a copy to their insurance company.
There are products, including Vandal Off, made specifically for removing graffiti.
Anyone with information about the incidents may contact Danville Police Department at (859) 238-1224.
