James Reed: Sept. 14, 2011

James William Reed, 45, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 14. He was a employee of Shoney’s in Danville. He is the son of Raymond Lee Reed and the late Nancy Virginia Broaddus Reed. Additional survivors are two children, Ella Grace Reed and James William Reed II, a brother, Raymond Lee Reed II, a sister, Rose Ella Reed Catlett, all of Danville; a special friend, Mary Ellen Phillips; his girlfriend, Melinda Hodge; and many other family members. Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Bottrell. Burial followed in Junction City Cemetery.
