Letter to the editor for Sept. 22

Thanks to those who helped with High Bridge Fest

A heartfelt thank you to all who helped with the seventh annual High Bridge Homecoming Festival held in August. The steering committee is grateful for the support provided by so many individuals, businesses, private clubs and organizations, as well as various branches of local and state governments. Their contributions came in the form of financial gifts, supplies, time, energy, labor, attendance, etc. It would be difficult to list them all without fear of overlooking someone. Festivals are a big undertaking and would not be possible without their contributions. Support like this will enable the festival to continue in 2012 (Aug. 17-19, 2012) and to fulfill its mission statement of contributing back to this county.
