Mountain Parkway bridge repair

Pothole repair work is scheduled for a bridge on the Mountain Parkway in Clark County Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m.
There will be rolling roadblocks on the westbound Mountain Parkway from between mile points 15 and 0.

Colby Road closure scheduled for Oct. 3

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Department of Highways announced that a temporary road closure is scheduled for Colby Road. The closure is necessary for culvert replacement work.
Work will be performed on Monday between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. A portion of Colby Road will be closed at mile point 6.5. Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to alert and guide the travelers.
Suggested alternate routes include Becknerville Road or McClure Road.

Pink Ribbon Partners hanging ribbons Monday

The Pink Ribbon Partners, a breast cancer survivors support group, will be conducting the annual hanging of pink ribbons around the Clark County Courthouse on Monday, Oct. 3.

GRC SBDM meeting

The George Rogers Clark High School-based Decision-making council will have its regular meeting Thursday, Oct. 6 at 4:30 p.m. in the library. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
