OCTOBER 11
12:24 a.m., a suspicious male is walking around the 911 center on South Fourth Street; subject’s vehicle had broken down near Sears and he was walking to Highland Court.
1:10 a.m., officer out with three suspicious subjects walking on Main Street; one subject under arrest.
1:18 a.m., management on Ben-Ali Drive is requesting assistance due to the subjects returning from an earlier domestic altercation; male left before officers arrived and the female advised there wasn’t a physical assault and she was not being held against her will.
4:43 a.m., a vehicle has struck a utility pole at Stanford Avenue and Martin Luther King Blvd; AT&T notified; tow truck on scene.
8:37 a.m., a tractor trailer is blocking one lane of traffic on Lebanon Road; the driver was trying to back his trailer in and got stuck; the truck is in a curve and not able to be seen until vehicles are right up on it.
9:29 a.m., caller is requesting officers due to a 14-year-old who is beyond control; mother advised there has not been an assault.
11:52 a.m., one female shoplifter is in custody at Kroger who is not giving them any problems, other than not being very forthcoming with the products.
12:47 p.m., caller from Aspen Drive residence had two Wii game systems stolen.
3:45 p.m., assistance given due to theft at Daniel Drive address.
5:54 p.m., caller believes her brother is in her house on Daniel Drive stealing her belongings; arrest made.
5:56 p.m., caller advising three males are chasing another male on Burckley Drive and heard one of the subjects say “Shoot him,” but no weapons were seen.
6:20 p.m., caller’s nephew has returned home after being chased by three or four males; assistance given.
6:49 p.m., caller claims a person driving a mini-van was stealing steel from the old Kmart building; unable to locate.
6:50 p.m., report of property damage to a porch on High Street.
6:52 p.m., security at Walmart has apprehended a shoplifter who is threatening; assistance given.
8:22 p.m., caller is requesting to speak to an officer about an out of control juvenile; assistance given.
8:37 p.m., theft at Madison Avenue residence; assistance given.
10:41 p.m., caller is requesting to speak to an officer about the welfare of the children nearby.
11:59 p.m., there are about five car loads of juveniles who may be consuming alcohol on Jane Drive.
