Content item pointers allow you to create a place holder within one collection that points to another.
For example if you wanted to sprinkle in headlines from the Syndicate among your own entertainment headlines, rather than searching for the latest Syndicate slugs each day you can create a content item pointer that will always looks to the Syndicate’s collection and reflect the latest content.
To create a content item pointer:
