The center has a fully equipped exercise room and a thrift shop. The seniors meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. — Father Justin Patterson, pastor of St. Athanasius Orthodox Church at 926 S. Main St. in Nicholasville, will be teaching a series on the Orthodox Church and its teachings. The Orthodoxy 101 series started Wednesday, Sept. 28, and will continue for 12 weeks, excluding Thanksgiving weekend. Classes will be each Wednesday at 7:20 p.m. and will conclude at 8:10 p.m. These classes are open to the public and serve as an introduction to Orthodoxy.
