Ann W. Cox, of Beaver, Pa., died Oct. 14.
She was born Nov. 20, 1936, in Winchester, the daughter of the late Wilburn and Ada Bean.
Ann was retired from J.C.¿Penney. She was an avid poker and bridge player and was a beloved friend to many people she met throughout her life. She always could be counted on to have a cheerful attitude and had a passion to care for any stray animal or wildlife that passed her way.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Tommy L. Cox, of Beaver, Pa.; a daughter, Kimberly Sheldon of Rochester, Pa.; two cherished grandchildren, Angela and her husband, Craig Morris, and John Thomas Sheldon, all of Center, Pa.; two great-grandchildren, Ava Marie and Nikolas Charles Morris; her sister and best friend, Dottie, and her husband, John Flora, of Winchester; a niece, Kathryn, and her husband, Tom Wilkens of Birmingham, Ala.; and her two pet cats, Regis and Little Bit.
