Winchester Police: Nov. 17, 2011

Charged
— Angela S. Chesney, 42, of Mount Sterling, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.
— Ashley Swartz, 25, of Mount Sterling, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking and criminal trespassing.

Reports
— At 10 a.m. Wednesday, a person reported the theft of a purse.
— At 4:39 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 242 Vaught Road concerning a possible burglary.
— At 9:04 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to an injury accident near the intersection of Boone Avenue and Bypass Road in which a pickup truck overturned several times. The driver was later flown to a Lexington hospital.
— At 10:06 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 430 Country Club Drive after someone broke into the home and took a laptop computer.

Accident
— At 6:44 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an injury accident on North Maple Street in which Dorothy M. Dunaway of 104 Blueberry Lane was traveling south on Bypass Road when she had chest pains and passed out. Her car went off the road and struck a light pole. She was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center.
