Clark County NARFE Chapter met Nov. 22

Chapter 1828 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association met at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at the Taste of China. The annual auction to raise money for Alzheimer’s research and Hospice took place.

Also, new officers for 2012 were elected. Officers are: presidents, Gayle and Charlotte Rees; vice presidents and program chairs, R.B. and Lila Omohundro; and secretary, Janice Taulbee.

Present for the meeting were Kay Scrivner, Billie Scrivner, Jean Brandenburg, Gayle Rees, Charlotte Rees, Audrey King, Betty Hollon, Elizabeth Bunch, Dolores Tabor, Philip Jackson, Stoner Parsons, Helen Parsons, R.B. Omohundro, Lila Omohundro, Denver Parks, Don Stone, Ann C. Hall, Will Bentley, Cindy Bentley, Floyd Gibbs and Pat Gibbs.

The next NARFE¿meeting will be a Christmas luncheon at noon, Thursday, Dec. 8 at Cedar Village in Irvine.
