Margaret Faye Smith

Margaret Faye Smith, 70, of Somerset, died Thursday, Nov. 24, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Born Aug. 12, 1941, in Waynesburg, Margaret was a daughter of the late Johnnie and Mildred Hasty Falconberry. She was a homemaker and wonderful mother and grandmother. Margaret enjoyed cooking, visiting and spending time with family, working in her yard, and doing word search puzzles. She loved to help people in need. Ms. Smith was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Earl Lee Meeks; two brothers, James and Harold Falconberry; and two sisters, Marcella Cassidy and Anna Belle Willis.
Survivors include a son, Michael Smith of Somerset; a daughter, Sheila (Morris) Washburn of Somerset;  grandchildren, Jeramie Wayne Baker of Somerset, Brandi Caudill (Chris) Fitzgerald of Burnside, Brittany Lee Caudill of Lancaster, Austin Paul Smith of Somerset and Lily Hope Price of Somerset; a great grandchild, Camden Lee Fitzgerald; three brothers, Gary Falconberry of Crab Orchard, Larry (Marlene) Falconberry of Somerset and Delyn Falconberry of Tateville; and a special friend, Joyce Harris.
Funeral services were Nov. 28 at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Vola Brown officiating. Burial was in the Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg.
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
