Calvin Mitchell Short

Calvin Mitchell Short, 84, of Hustonville, died Monday, Nov. 28.
Born Aug. 28, 1927, on Carpenter’s Creek in Casey County, Calvin was a son of the late Jeff and Lillie Short. He was a lifelong farmer, an Army veteran, a member of the Hustonville Christian Church and the widower of Patricia Vincent Short.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah (Jack) Bosley; two sons, Jefferson M. Short and Frederick V. (Brenda Gail) Short,; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. today (Dec. 1) at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Don Burton officiating. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
