NUMC offers Manna Ministries
A free meal is provided by Manna Ministries each Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meal is a restaurant-quality meal served at 303 W. Maple St. in the community center of Nicholasville United Methodist Church.
The meal is open to the public for anyone in need. Takeout meals are available after 12:30 p.m.Volunteers are always welcome and can contact the office at 859-885-4481.
St. Athanasius offers bread ministry
St. Athanasius Orthodox Church at 926 S. Main St. in Nicholasville offers a bread ministry.
The church distributes this bread, which has been donated by Panera Bread, every Sunday from 1-2 p.m. at the church’s location.
FASMC to host Bible study

Lighthouse Baptist Church will host many Christmas events and services during the month of December.
On Sunday, Dec. 18, at 10:30 a.m., the church will present the “Voices of Christmas” musical performed by the adult choir.

Wilmore Free Methodist Church, located at 1200 Lexington Road in Wilmore, will host a musical celebration of Christmas at 8:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 11. The church will go caroling at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18.
Its Christmas Eve services are set for 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Perkins Chapel to host Birthday Bash

Nicholasville Christian to host Christmas events
Nicholasville Christian Church will host its annual Christmas celebration from 5:30-7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11.
There will be a special Christmas program performed by members of the church.
Following the program, there will be a Christmas fellowship time that will include refreshments, singing Christmas songs and possibly a visit from St. Nick.
The church’s chancel choir will present its Christmas cantata “Come and Adore Him” during worship Sunday, Dec. 18. The presentation will be a blend of traditional and contemporary songs.
Edgewood Baptist to host Christmas musical
Edgewood Baptist Church will present, “Searching for a King,” a Christmas musical and drama at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 17, and at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18.
