Our pets of the week are Dale and Patsy. Dale is a sweet and playful 8-month-old kitten. He is very handsome with his buff and white coat and deep golden eyes.  Dale has been at the shelter for a while just waiting for the perfect person to give him a special home. Remember, right now Dale’s adoption fee is just $25. Let’s give Dale a loving home for Christmas.
Patsy is an 11-week-old black and tan mixed breed puppy. We’re not sure of her breeding, but it appears she will be a large dog when fully grown. This lovable bundle of fur has a very distinctive appearance with her tan mask around her eyes. Patsy will bring a lot of fun and joy to her new forever home.
The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society is having a “Lap Warmer” sale. Just in time for the chilly weather ahead, you can adopt a cat or kitten to keep you cozy and warm during the long winter nights and the adoption is just $25. The fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations including rabies, deworming and feline leukemia test.  Help us give all our beautiful kitties their special, forever home for the holidays and give yourself the gift of love — adopt a pet.
It’s the holiday season and the kitties and pups have put together their list wish of gifts that will help us care for them while they wait for loving homes. Needed items are Purina puppy and kitten chow, used blankets and towels, bleach, laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels and cat litter. We thank everyone, now and throughout the year, for their generous support!
Low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery is available for pet owners with low and fixed incomes.  For an appointment, call our Happy Paws Clinic at (859) 691-1137. Please help control pet over-population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
