The meal is open to the public for anyone in need. Takeout meals are available after 12:30 p.m.

St. Athanasius to host Christmas events
St. Athanasius Orthodox Church will celebrate a full cycle of Orthodox Christian Christmas services.
On Friday, Dec. 23, the church will present the Royal Hours of Nativity Forefest at 7 a.m. At 5 p.m., the church will host the Vespers of the Forefeast; a confession service will be at 5:45.
On Christmas Eve, the church will host the Divine Liturgy for Nativity Eve at 9 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., the church will host a “Lenten” breakfast; at 11:30 a.m. it will host the Vespers of Nativity.
On Christmas Day, the church will host a 9 a.m. Nativity liturgy, and on Dec. 26 at 9 a.m., the church will host the liturgy for second day of Christmas.
Edgewood Baptist to host Christmas services
Edgewood Baptist Church will host its Christmas Eve candlelight service Saturday, Dec. 24, at 6 p.m.
The church will host its Christmas morning service at 10:30 a.m. The public is invited.
Wilmore Free Methodist to host Christmas events
Wilmore Free Methodist Church, located at 1200 Lexington Road in Wilmore, will host its Christmas Eve services at 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Its Christmas Day services are set for 8:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
Nicholasville Christian to host Christmas events
Nicholasville Christian Church will present its Christmas cantata, “Come and Adore Him,” during worship Sunday, Dec. 18. The presentation will be a blend of traditional and contemporary songs.
Sulphur Well Christian to host Christmas events
Sulphur Well Christian Church, located at 2900 Sulphur Well Road, will host its Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m.
The church will host is Christmas Day service at 11 a.m.
There will be no Sunday School or evening service Christmas day. The church’s minister is Tyson Cummings.
