Edward "Dick" Goins, 86

Edward "Dick" Goins, 86,  of Lancaster, died Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Christian Care Center in Lancaster.  
Born Oct. 29, 1925, in Garrard County, “Dick” was a son of the late Ash and Lou Long Goins. He was a retired farmer, longtime employee of the Veterans Hospital and a member of the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene
 Survivors include his wife, Helen Shearer Goins; daughters, Brenda Carpenter and Donna (Ricky) Burkhart; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Dec. 20 at the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene with Revs. Leon Thomas and Daryl Hodge officiating. Burial was in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Ramsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
