Alma Bradley Henderson, 94

Alma Bradley Henderson, 94, of Stanford, died Sunday, Dec. 18, at Golden Living Center in Stanford.
Born Feb. 28, 1917, in Pulaski County, Alma was a daughter of the late General Burton and Dora Hubble Burton. She worked in the meat department at the Stanford IGA Store, as a waitress in the hotel in Stanford and as a babysitter for several years. Alma was a member of Stanford Baptist Church and the widow of Roy Henderson.
She was also preceded in death by four step children, Harold and Kenneth Henderson, Molly Jo Vance and Irma Jean Henderson.
Survivors include three children, Helen (Ted) Hafner of Maumee, Ohio, John R. Bradley, Jr. of Duluth, Minn., and Ronald H. Bradley of Mt. Sterling; seven step children, William Roy (Hilda) Henderson, Jr. of Vell, Fla., Sandra H. Cope of Springfield, Tenn., Porter (Mary) Henderson of Cedar Hill, Tenn., Jimmy (Than) Henderson of Del Valle, Texas, Joyce H. Smith of Lewisburg, Tenn., David Henderson of Atlanta, Ga., and Michael Henderson of La Bergne, Tenn.; a brother, Albert Burton of Walnut Grove; and a sister, Cellia Mize Barnd of Greenwood, Ind.; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; 40 step grandchildren; 85 step great grandchildren; 39 step great, great grandchildren;  two step great, great, great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today (Dec. 22) at Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Max Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to Heritage Hospice and or the Lincoln County Educational Fund.
