Grace Baptist hosts Christmas events

Grace Baptist Church, 5990 Lexington Road, is hosting Christmas Eve and Christmas day worship services. The Christmas Eve service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday and the Christmas day service will be at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

Ark of Mercy Christmas dinner

Ark of Mercy Church of God will host its community-wide Christmas dinner at 12:30 p.m. Christmas Day at the church located at 240 Winn Ave.

Christmas Eve service at Central Baptist

There will be a Christmas Eve candlelight and Communion service Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. at Central Baptist Church.

Left Behind support group meetings

New Life Assembly of God will host a support group, Left Behind, for the friends and family members of drug addicts. Meetings are Thursdays at 6 p.m. at the church on Ky. 15 past the Colonial Valley Subdivision.

First Presbyterian hosts Christmas festivities

Sunday will be Christmas Music Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, and the children will present a Nativity play. Gabe Evans will perform a special organ composition and there will be an instrumental ensemble.
On Dec. 24, the church will hold a candlelight service from 6 to 7 p.m.
Christmas morning services will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Chancel Choir will sing “A Christmas Carol Fantasy.”
New Year’s Day, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., there will be a traditional carol sing service. The congregation sings the carols they choose.
Jan. 8 will be Epiphany communion at 10:30 a.m.

Heritage Baptist unveils new building

Heritage Baptist Church will host services in its new building at 4369 Lexington Road.
Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. and worship service begins at 10:45.
The public is invited.

Mercy’s Road in concert

Ark of Mercy Church of God will host Mercy’s Road, featuring Bill Claypoole, Ed Toler and Jonathan Goodwin, Sunday at 6 p.m.

Greater St. James hosts New Year’s Eve service

Greater St. James CME Church, 410 W. Washington St., will host a New Year’s Eve watch service Dec. 31. Food and fellowship begin at 10:30 p.m. Services begin at 11 p.m.
The Rev. Terry Robertson of Woods Chapel in Millersburg will be the guest speaker.
