MORELAND — Larry Maples, 56, of Bowen Road passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012.
Born Nov. 5, 1955, he was the son of the late Robert and Georgie Hendren Maples. He was a truck driver for McCray Feeds and had worked at R.R. Donnelley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Henson Maples, and a grandson, Braden Maples.
He is survived by one son, Jeremy (Mitzi Young) Maples of Danville; one daughter, Kristi (Todd) Berry of Bowen Road; his mother-in-law, Glenna Kissinger of Stanford; two brothers, Mike (Carol) Maples of Stanford and Roger Maples of Hustonville; four sisters, Laverne Maples of Moreland, Dorothy (Rod) Strickland of Fort Myers, Fla., Bonnie (Roger) Vaughn of Danville and Susie Maples of Hustonville; and two grandchildren, Sheyenne and Jace Berry.
Services are 1 p.m., Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Joe and Josh Goode, Jeremy Maples, Eddie Griffith, David Noland and Todd Berry.
