Charged

— Eve. D. Anthony, 36, of 108 S. Main St. Apt. 405, was charged Monday with theft of identity.

— Christopher Michael Bell, 20, of 366 S. Main St., was charged Monday with criminal possession of a forged instrument, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property under $500.

— Verlon E. Johnson, 47, of 72 Hiawatha Trail, was charged Monday with reckless driving and driving under the influence.


Reports

— At 12:08 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 57 Bon Haven Ave. concerning a theft of jewelry.

— At 1:38 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Peoples Exchange Bank at 101 N. Main St. after two men in a dark blue car attempted to cash a forged check. Officers located the suspects a short time later and charged Christopher Michael Bell with criminal possession of a forged instrument, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.

— At 4:22 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Walmart concerning a theft of iPads.

— At 4:45 p.m. Monday, a man reported that tools were taken from his truck.

— At 6:03 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 44 N. Maple St. after someone threw something and broke a window.

— At 12:43 a.m. today, officers were called to Tyler Banks Court after a known male was demanding money from passersby.
